GBP Automation
A Google Business Profile management tool. It audits a business's profile, scores its completeness, drafts replies to customer reviews and drafts local posts — and holds every draft for a human to approve before anything is published to Google.
What it does
1. Profile health audit
Once a week the tool reads the connected Business Profile and scores it out of 100 across six weighted dimensions:
- Business information (25%) — name, categories, address, phone, website, hours, description
- Photos (20%) — count, recency and coverage across required types
- Reviews (20%) — volume, average rating, reply rate and reply speed
- Profile completeness (15%) — attributes and verification state
- Content (10%) — local post recency, frequency and variety
- Services (10%) — service count, descriptions and pricing
Each failed check becomes a specific recommendation, priced by how many points of the overall score fixing it would recover. The business owner receives the score, the breakdown and the ranked fixes by email.
2. Review reply drafting
New reviews are drafted a reply in the business's own voice. Drafts are held for approval by default. A reply is only ever eligible to be sent automatically when every safety condition passes and the business owner has switched auto-reply on. Low ratings, negative sentiment, and any review mentioning legal, safety or refund matters are always routed to a human.
3. Local post drafting
Post copy is generated only from information already on the profile — services, categories, location and the business's own website. Posts are checked for length, duplicate content, unverifiable claims, prices, discounts and off-domain links before being offered for approval.
Approval is the default. Nothing is published to Google without a person deciding to publish it. Every draft is stored together with the reasons it was held, and automatic publishing stays off until the business owner explicitly enables it.
What data the tool accesses, and why
With the business owner's authorisation, GBP Automation requests the Google
scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage. It is the
only scope Google publishes for Business Profile management, and the tool uses
it to read:
| Data read | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Business information, attributes, hours, categories | To score profile completeness and identify missing fields |
| Photos and media metadata | To score photo count, recency and coverage |
| Reviews and existing replies | To measure reply rate and speed, and to draft replies |
| Local posts | To measure posting frequency and avoid duplicate content |
| Service items | To score the services dimension and ground post copy in real services |
| Performance metrics | To report how the profile is performing over time |
The tool writes back only two things, and only after human approval: a reply to a review, and a local post.
How a business connects
- Assign Over sends the business a connection link.
- The business owner signs in with the Google account that manages their Business Profile, and reviews the permissions Google shows them.
- The owner grants access. No credentials are ever shared with Assign Over.
- The first audit runs, and the owner receives their profile health report.
How a business disconnects
A business can revoke access at any time, without asking us, at Google Account → Third-party apps & services. Access stops immediately.
You can also email support@assignover.in. We will disconnect the profile and delete the stored data within seven business days, and confirm when it is done.
Limited use of Google user data
Assign Over's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
